So last night was the official debut of Impact Wrestling. As usual with TNA, there was stuff I liked and stuff I didn't like. Of course, lately there has only seemed to be stuff I didn't like, so I guess this is a step in the right direction. I want to get right into this...

- Re-branding.: This was a great move for TNA, as it kind of gave them a chance to wipe the slate clean a little bit. The Impact Wrestling Zone looked way different and it felt like a different atmosphere. However, they are still in the same place. I get the re-branding though and I like it. Also, even though not much has really changed, they are at least making it appear like things have changed.

- X Division.: I'm not sure what exactly is going to happen so I am going to reserve judgment on what happened to the X Division and Abyss winning the X Division title. This could end up being good if they use it to push the X Division and make it important again. It will be bad if they actually do end up getting rid of the X Division. The X Division is what helped TNA stand out for a while. Some of the best wrestling is done in that division.

- Fortune.: Last night Fortune was systematically taken out. I don't know where TNA is going with this but it seems to me like we might not see some of these guys for a little while. Maybe TNA is giving them some time off so the Fortune stable can peacefully split. I hope that's not the case, but it could happen. By the way, what is the deal with AJ Styles? One week he is wrestling, then he gets injured, then he's wrestling again, then he's injured again, and now he's wrestling again. I'm so lost on AJ right now.

- Mexican America.: Can someone please get these people off TV? I have never seen a more boring group. They are really hacky and just not interesting at all. Only one person in the group seems to have some talent and that is Sarita, and even she is becoming really annoying.

- Angle vs Jarrett... Again.: I really can't believe this feud is still going on. Talk about staying too long at the party. This feud should have ended months ago. I'm glad that at least this time, there is something to move on to after the match.

- Mr. Anderson and Sting.: I hope these two will get a fair one on one match when they finally go at it. It seems like every time they get in the ring, someone else is involved. Anderson's attack last night was pretty cool. I honestly thought Sting had gone back to his surfer look, until I saw him come out. Then, Anderson came out and looked exactly like Surfer Sting. Taz even made the comment, "That is Anderson right?"

Overall, I thought the show was alright. I like the re-branding idea, but it seems like all that has changed is the look. When you get down to the show, it is still the same old stuff that has been going on for months. You can call crap something else but at the end of the day it's still crap. I really hope TNA finds a way to truly hit the reset, and give the fans something fresh. Until next time...
