It's been a little while since I've done one of these blogs but I had seen the spoilers about Smackdown and wanted to wait till it sank it. Let's get right to it...

- Randy Orton and Christian.: I was really happy Christian finally won the World title, even though the draft made it obvious. I was upset he lost it to Randy Orton so quick though. I kind of expected Orton to feud with Cody Rhodes, to get him over more, and I thought Christian would feud with Mark Henry. The popular speculation is that Christian will now turn heel and have a good feud with Orton. I'm buying into this and it should be good. However, I still think WWE could have at least waited until the Pay-Per-View to take the title off Christian. I think the resulting feud would have been the same.

- Seeds planted for a feud with Miz and Riley.: I see why they are doing this but I think they could have gone another way. WWE wants to distance Riley from the Miz and make him a star on Smackdown. They want to do this by having them feud. I think they could have done this in another way, which is also quicker. WWE could have just pointed out that Riley is on his own now that he has been drafted to Smackdown, and had him stay away from Miz, while using what he has learned to become a star.

- Rey Mysterio vs Del Rio II.: We have seen this before and it was pretty good. I would have preferred for Del Rio to go after Kofi's US title, but this feud isn't a bad idea. It got Del Rio over on Smackdown, so WWE is likely trying to use it to establish Del Rio on RAW. I'll accept it if it doesn't go too long. I'd really like to see Del Rio go after the US title soon.

- Sheamus.: Sheamus seems to have gone back to his original act since losing the US title. Great move! This gimmick got him over and it will really help him get back to the top. He looked good on Smackdown and I don't think it will be too long before he is going after the World title.

- The Corre.: I really liked them kicking out Zeke on Smackdown. Nothing against Zeke, but that segment gave all four guys new life. Also, Zeke was the only one who wasn't part of the original Nexus, so technically he's not really part of the Corre. I see the Corre as the guys who were the core members of the Nexus. The only issue I have is that Zeke has made a lot of switches from heel to face. He debuted heel, became face on RAW, moved to Smackdown as a heel, and is now face again. I'm just not sure WWE knows what they want to do with Zeke.

- Kharma.: Kharma's debut worked well and I'm enjoying her run early on. I think her storyline is with Layla but I'm not totally sure. She has been attacking heel Divas, but I think she may be a heel herself. I think the mystery about her character really has people talking.

- The Great Khali.: For the first time in a long time, Khali is part of a semi-interesting story. I think all signs point to Khali turning heel and teaming with this new guy he has been meeting backstage. I thought Khali had kind of found his niche as a comedy character, but he could be good as a heel again.

- R-Truth.: His heel run is going pretty well so far. With Morrison now being out with a neck injury, Truth has a chance to move in. I wouldn't be surprised if he is challenging Cena for the title at Over the Limit.

A lot more has gone down, but this is the main stuff. WWE is in the process of their annual restart right now, which is always a very interesting time. Until next time...
