Under: Pay-Per-View Previews
This Sunday is WWE's Over the Limit and I'm actually pretty excited about it. The card looks pretty good. I want to get right to breaking it down...
- Sin Cara vs Chavo Guerrero.: First, let me say I'm happy to see Chavo finally have another Pay-Per-View match. This feud is really interesting for fans who enjoy getting more than the usual WWE style. The match should be pretty strong but I doubt these two will put it all out there. If they are smart, they will hold back just a bit, so that this feud can keep going and getting better. I fully expect Sin Cara to pull out the win, based on his push and the fact that this is his first big time match.
- Brie Bella vs Kelly Kelly. For the Diva's title.: This match won't be a wrestling classic, though Kelly Kelly has improved a ton since her debut, and the Bellas are fairly decent in the ring. This match is more for Kharma in my opinion. I get the feeling like Kharma will get involved, costing Brie the title. This will help Kharma move into a weird feud with Kelly Kelly, which will likely lead to Kharma winning the title herself.
- Big Show and Kane vs CM Punk and Mason Ryan.: This match should be interesting. Mason Ryan has been getting a sudden push lately and Punk is always great. Show and Kane are seasoned veterans who are very dependable. I think this is all going to come down to booking. If it is booked with enough time, it will be a pretty good match. It will be bad if it turns out to be cluttered and overdone with interferences, and if it ends too quickly. I'm not too sure who will win. I don't see a reason to take the titles off Show and Kane, but I also think there has to be a reason for drafting Big Show to RAW.
- Rey Mysterio vs R-Truth.: I'm excited about this match much more than I have been for an R-Truth match in a long time. This heel turn has done wonders for him, and it really made him one of the top guys in the company. Truth is really good at being back. Rey is still a great performer. Didn't he have some kind of injury that needed surgery going into Wrestlemania? He hasn't taken any time off, so I think he is still performing at this level hurt. I honestly don't know who is going to win this one, and it could steal the show.
- Wade Barrett vs Ezekiel Jackson. For the Intercontinental title.: This is a quiet match that should be pretty decent. Both guys are over with a certain portion of the fans. I feel like in most of their major matches, they have been overshadowed by their opponents. In this match, both guys are kind of even so they will have a chance to shine. I think Zeke works better as a face for some reason, so I'm glad he's out of the Corre. I fully expect them to get involved and Zeke will probably win via DQ.
- Jerry Lawler vs Michael Cole. Kiss My Foot Match.: I'm so not excited for this. Their feud had a big buildup, but kind of turned out to be a dud. Everything was going so well until their Wrestlemania match. Now it's kind of like the Angle/Jarrett feud in TNA. It has been going on too long. I hope this is the end of the feud.
- Randy Orton vs Christian. For the World title.: I think this is the match that everyone is talking about. Aside from Orton's Spirit Squad tribute at the end of Smackdown, this feud has been pretty interesting. Their first match was amazing, and this one will be on a bigger stage. I can honestly see Christian turning heel after this match. One way it could go is that Christian can lose, and turn heel afterward. Or, Christian can turn heel during the match, cheat and win the title back. I'm really looking forward to this match.
- John Cena vs the Miz. I Quit match for the WWE Title.: I'm kind of surprised there aren't more people talking about this match. For two big money performers, they seem to have taken a back seat to Orton and Christian. Anyway, this match looks really good. I think this is the big blow off match, so I'm expecting them to put it all out there. I think Cena will win this one and move on to someone else, such as Alberto Del Rio.
I'm kind of surprised Del Rio isn't on this card, but I think he will get involved in some way, as will Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase. I will certainly be ordering this show, and you should too. It looks like a good one. Until next time...
